To celebrate the uniqueness of Hong Kong, EAST Hong Kong is introducing the ‘Journey to Hong Kong’ art exhibition, highlighting a pottery collection curated by Ukrainian artist Anna Smith.

The works exhibited were produced over the past year and a half since Smith moved to Hong Kong. They represent her exploration of Chinese culture and Hong Kong's unique landscapes.

The exhibition is open to public with free admission from 1 March to end of April at the lobby of EAST Hong Kong.

Alvin has participated in numerous local and international competitions and has made great achievements:

• Gin Mare's Mediterranean Inspirations 2019 - Hong Kong Champion and International Second Runner Up
• Moët Hennessy Diageo World Class Bartender of the Year (Hong Kong & Macau) 2021 – Top 6 Finalists

Alvin's career in food and beverages began at EAST Hong Kong's rooftop bar and lounge, Sugar from 2018, where he developed a passion for mixology.

He seeks inspiration from new happenings, new trends in daily life and from collective memories. As a mixologist, Alvin enjoys tending bar and mixing drinks, where he can draw on his creativity to design new drinks and perfect their presentation.

Lydia’s career in food and beverages began two years ago at a café and a bar, where she developed an interest in mixology, before starting her bartending career at Sugar in 2021. With just over one-year experience, she has made remarkable progress at World Class competition 2022 finishing in 1^st runner-up.

When creating cocktails, Lydia thinks outside of the box by immersing elements from traditional Hong Kong delicacies into her mixology approach. She wishes to shine a light on the underrated and complex side of Hong Kong culture, a side that is not yet explored into too much internationally.
